Our LBA Cirque Arts Level 2 class is designed for students who have a solid foundation in acrobatic and circus skills and are ready to take their training to the next level. This intermediate-level class builds on the basic acro techniques learned in Level 1, introducing more advanced moves, combinations, and strength-building exercises, while continuing to develop balance, flexibility, and coordination in the context of circus arts.

In Level 2, students will work on enhancing their handstands, backbends, partnering acro, and flips. They will also begin to explore more complex balancing techniques, aerial silks, and other circus apparatus, depending on the specific offerings in the class. The focus is on improving body control, core strength, and endurance to support the execution of advanced skills with precision and confidence.

LBA Cirque Arts Level 2 emphasizes the development of technical ability alongside artistic expression, encouraging students to connect with their circus work not just physically, but emotionally and creatively. This class provides students with the tools to start developing routines that incorporate different circus elements, transitioning from individual skills to performing dynamic sequences and choreographed pieces. Students will also gain a greater understanding of timing, flow, and transitions, as well as how to work with music and themes to create performances that engage and captivate an audience.

Progression:
As students refine their technique and expand their skill set, they will be prepared to move on to LBA Cirque Arts Level 3, where more complex tricks, routines, and performance-based work are introduced. The class also provides a foundation for those who wish to progress to more specialized circus disciplines, such as aerial arts, acrobatics, or trapeze.

If your child has not attended an LBA Cirque Arts class with us before, they will be assessed in their trial class to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level. Progression to the next level will be determined by the teacher based on individual skill development, ensuring that each student moves at their own pace while continuing to grow and improve.

Our highly skilled and experienced circus arts instructors are dedicated to helping each student build confidence, strength, and technical ability in a safe and supportive environment. Whether working toward a performance, a competition, or simply developing their skills, LBA Cirque Arts Level 2 is the perfect class for students looking to further explore the exciting and dynamic world of circus arts.
